IEEE 13th Workshop on Positioning, Navigation and Communications
WPNC’16, 19-20 October 2016 Bremen, Germany
HIGHTS members supported the organization of the coming Workshop, WPNC'16. It was held on 19-20 October 2016 at Jacobs University Bremen in Germany.
Wireless location has plays a center role in research and businesses in the wider Wireless Communications area, as demonstrated by its ever increasing range of applications including logistics, traffic engineering, industrial production, retail, office and home automation, ambient assisted living, convenience, luxury, security and many more.
In particular, major technological development efforts such as the Internet of Things, Cyber Physical Systems and more recently Connected Vehicles, are driving various advances in heterogeneous sensor data processing, fusion, energy efficient networking and cooperation, context awareness, highly automated information gathering and processing, privacy and security, etc., all of which benefit or require location.
WPNC, the annual European event on Positioning and Navigation and energy efficient Communication, continues to provide an international platform for exchanging latest research results and inputs from the industry.
Be part of the wireless ranging, positioning and energy efficient wireless networking revolution and submit your original contribution to WPNC 2016.
